Benefit for Caitlin Zaugg Print E-mail

Caitlin Elizabeth turned 16 last April 30. She is currently a junior at Pat - Med and really loves school. She was, and is currently taking AP and honors courses and as of now really doesn't have a specific major. She loves Disney, all kinds of music and she is almost as sarcastic as her father. She has the best laugh, is so very generous to all of those around her and more compassionate then anyone I know.

She is truly an inspiration and I couldn't imagine life without her.

On August 29th Caitlin was diagnosed with Osteo Genic Sarcoma (a pediatric bone cancer) that affects children male and female usually between the ages of 11 - 16 but have been known to be younger and as old as mid 40's.

Hello My Fellow Brothers and Sisters,

It’s hard to believe another year has come and gone, but one with many triumphs for the lodge.  The Board of Officers has worked diligently over the past year to ensure the future of OUR Lodge.  Their hard work and dedication has paid off and we are now on course for success, but that success is not possible without you.  While making your New Year’s resolutions, like the Board of Officers, I hope you’ll resolve to the success of OUR Lodge; that each of you will in some way assist with the continued growth of OUR Moose home.  By Moose standards we are a small Lodge, just around 130 male members; but in true Moose fashion, we stand tall and are dedicated to OUR Families, OUR Fraternity, and OUR Communities.  We truly make a difference!

Why the Moose? Print E-mail

Why the Moose? That’s a question that really consists of two parts:

First, why was this particular animal chosen to represent a humanitarian fraternal order. Secondly, why would a person or a family seek to become a member of it.
